Everyone knows how to surf the Internet for free quilting patterns and other neat stuff.  There are some wonderful quilting websites out there in cyberspace and some not so wonderful.  I have some personal favorites and thought I'd share them with you. 
 
Quiltshops.com is a group of over 175 independent quilt shops. Their search engine allows you to search all 175+ shops at once for any item, with or without thumbnails. You can search for quilt fabric, quilt books, quilt patterns, quilt kits, quilt notions, batting, and all your quilting needs.

Quiltshops.com is the largest group of quilting sites on the Internet. You can also register to win their monthly drawing of a $500 shopping spree by placing an order at any shop, or by filling out the registration form. Happy shopping!

For quilters in downeast Maine, check out the St. Croix International Quilters' Guild website.  A sub-web of Bonnie Hunter Quiltmaker, the guild site offers a calendar of workshops and meetings, membership information, guild history, and lots of pictures.  Special Events, Block of the Month patterns, too!

How about that―another Bonnie Hunter who is a quilter; she's a machine quilter who lives in South Carolina.  In addition to marketing her machine quilting business, Bonnie's  website has lots of patterns for scrap quilts with step-by-step instructions and lots of pictures.
