The Smallest Quilt Shop in Maine
~ OPEN HOUSE ~
Saturday, August 25

Welcome to "The Smallest Quilt Shop in Maine"

Quilts hanging in the yard

Nary a quilt in sight; but delicious goodies are made in my kitchen!

Lots of sample quilts

Just a small look at some of the patterns, books, notions and more samples

In the middle of the coastal Maine village of Pembroke on a bright, summer day, dozens of quilters came to my first Open House where they were able to look at class samples and buy patterns, books, and notions.  With a few husbands and children in tow, enthusiastic women looked through the quilting supplies, fat quarters and patterns, asked questions, and signed up for classes.  They enjoyed delicious cookies (recipes on the "Fun Stuff" page), fudge, fruit, and ice cold lemonade and went on self-guided tours of this old house.

Door prize winners were:
Grace Curtis from Pembroke
Kathy Bishop from Perry

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who came.
